Conservation Education and Awareness
School Outreach, Park Educational Visits, Tree Planting & #Score4Nature
Cultivating conservation literacy, environmental stewardship, and landscape pride across Amboseli's schools and communities through national park educational visits, tree planting, wildlife clubs, and sports tournaments.
Conservation & Community Bottlenecks
Despite living adjacent to internationally famous wildlife sanctuaries, many children and young people growing up in the Amboseli Ecosystem have never visited Amboseli National Park or learned about the ecological significance of wildlife corridors. Fostering future conservation leadership requires structured school engagement and community sensitization.
What We Aim to Achieve
- ✓ Incorporate practical conservation education and wildlife clubs into primary and secondary schools across the landscape.
- ✓ Sponsor educational exposure excursions into Amboseli National Park for local students, youth, and community elders.
- ✓ Execute school-based tree planting drives to establish microclimate canopies, windbreaks, and fruit orchards.
- ✓ Leverage sports diplomacy through the #Score4Nature football and athletics initiative to rally youth around wildlife protection.
